Repair

We keep a good inventory of parts, both old and new, for repairing damaged or older suspension. With bikes, trees and clean water in low supply, we aim to keep everything running and out of the landfill.

In the first photo, the damper shaft and rebound metering rod have broken at the piston bolt. Many modern bikes use a yoke at the lower shock mount and this can apply additional side loading to the shock. Also, sometimes we crash.

In the second photo the air spring shaft was cracked. This fork worked fine and was in for an annual standard overhaul. This could have happened during a previous service, or during assembly, or the rider crashed.
